Vision loss has been linked to difficulties with daily living activities, high blood pressure, heart disease, strokes, falls, and depression. People frequently equate loss of visual function to old age and assume that nothing can be done to improve quality of life. However, many elders with vision loss are surprised to learn that they can continue many of the activities they enjoyed before.
