Groton Hill Music Center

Groton Hill Music Center shares the transformative power of music through teaching, performing, and giving. They hold monthly Bach’s Lunch Concerts welcoming residents from more than 50 senior living communities, memory care units, and facilities serving adults with disabilities. Attendees can socialize with one another, enjoy lunch, and immerse themselves in outstanding music by our professional musicians.

The Groton Center | Groton Council on Aging

The Groton Center and Groton Council on Aging serves as the community focal point promoting the independence of older adults through information and referral, support, health and wellness, socialization and education.

They provide opportunities for all individuals as they age by leveraging resources, developing a sustainable future, and engaging in strong partnerships and collaborations.

The Groton Public Library

The Groton Public Library offers a vibrant and welcoming sanctuary to spark curiosity and open minds. You can visit the library often to spark your curiosity, and in doing so, serendipitously discover music, art, programs, a new favorite author, meet others, and/or simply a place to be quiet.

The library also offers accessible spaces and services for all visitors including remote assistance, help retrieving items, home delivery, wheelchair access, and more.

Groton Historical Society

The Groton Historical Society was incorporated in 1894 and since then has acquired artifacts, documents and historical memorabilia that are significant to the history and lives of the residents of Groton.

In addition to serving the community as a museum, the Groton Historical Society actively publishes books and pamphlets and works with other organizations in town to promote Groton’s history. It also publishes a quarterly newsletter for members, holds historical programs which are open to the public and cover a wide range of topics relating to Groton’s history.

Prescott Community Center

The Prescott Community Center is located in the former Prescott School at 145 Main Street in Groton, MA. Our nonprofit, Friends of Prescott, Inc. is dedicated to leveraging our historic building as an accessible locus for all people to learn, play, gather, and prosper through connections with others.

The Prescott Community Center, offers an array of over 600+ programs for the enrichment of the community serving 5800 individuals annually, and includes classes for adults and children in art, sport, health and wellness, music, science, and dance. Adult and family programming spans lectures, guest speakers, walking tours, and workshops in a safe space for community discussion and hands-on fun for all.

Groton Country Club

The Groton Country Club, owned by the Town of Groton, is an affordable, family-oriented recreational complex offering fun for all ages. We are open to the public regardless of residency and are located in the heart of historic Groton, Massachusetts, easily accessible from Route 495, Boston and Worcester.

The Groton Country Club features a nine hole golf course, a heated Olympic-size pool, the Groton Publick House bar and grill, summer camp programs, golf camps and a reception hall facility for weddings, parties and all types of events.
