Our goal is to keep every resident engaged, entertained, and fulfilled. RiverCourt Residences does this by providing a range of activities, events, and programs in organized and comfortable settings that enhance and support our residents’ leisure interests. The senior activities are designed to allow residents to easily participate. Activities are planned to appeal to the varied lifestyles and backgrounds of the residents, while offering choice, fostering independence, promoting individuality and nurturing each individual.
Our program brings together staff, residents, family members and volunteers and emphasizes creative expression, physical activity, social and spiritual connections, inter-generational events, musical entertainment and community The Activity Department also offers scheduled transportation for shopping and local doctor appointments.
My Mom has always loved to sing, and I particularly like it that the residents sing daily and that a singing group was formed in response to her, and other resident’s, interest. Their December RiverCourt Singers Recital was impressive and delightful. Also, I like it that my Mom is in a coed community, so that she interacts with male as well as female peers. She has much more of a social life than she had living alone at her home.
