Taking Charge of Your End of Life Decisions

Attorney Hoag has partnered with Dr. Judy Weinstock to answer all of your questions on end of life documents. This one hour seminar will explain the differences between a Health Care Proxy, Living Will, HIPAA privacy form and a MOLST, as well as discuss the importance and relevance of these documents.

Margaret A. Hoag received her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College and her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. She lectures for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Alzheimer’s Association, and more. She concentrates her practice in the area of elder law, including long-term care planning, guardianship and conservatorship, MassHealth (Medicaid) application, estate planning, and probate administration.
Dr. Weinstock is a physician and patient advocate, who has worked with elders in hospitals and care facilities for over 15 years. She is dual board-certified in both Family Medicine and Hospice Palliative care. She acts as a bridge and interpreter, reviews treatment options and explains the differences, attends doctor appointments, and helps navigate today’s complex healthcare system.
